Advertising codes or ads refers to the code that is integrated in the website code in order to display ads from supply-side platforms.
Programmatic ad inventory
Programmatic ad inventory refers to several spaces dedicated to display advertising on the publisher website and served by the ad server such as: graphic display ads, native ads, video ads, video native ads, skins, in standard IAB and original formats.
Ad operation
Ad operation refers to any operation on the advertising code, on the ad inventory, on the supply-side platforms and on the header bidding technology that aim to provide a better service to the publisher.
Ad server
Ad server refers to the tool used by the publisher to serve ads on their websites.
Demand or Demand source
Demand or Demand source refers to all online ads made available to the publisher through supply-side platform bidding for the ad inventory on the publisher websites.
Header bidding
Header bidding refers to a specific ad operation that consists in integrating a code in the head section of the publisher websites code in order to enable competition at a first-price auction model among demands from several SSPs. First-price auction refers to an auction in which the price paid to the publisher by the bidder placing the highest bid and winning the auction is the amount of the bid itself, as opposed to second-price auction, in which the price paid to the publisher by the bidder placing the highest bid and winning the auction is the bid of the second-highest bidder increased of 1 Euro cent.
Sell-Side Partner
Sell-Side Partner refers to a company collaborating with the publisher after a contractual agreement between the publisher and the Sell-Side Partner or between Opti Digital and the Sell-Side Partner, and offering its demand to the publisher through its Supply-Side platform.
Supply-side platform or Sell-side platform (SSP)
Supply-side platform or Sell-side platform (SSP) refers to a marketplace placing advertising bids for the publisher website advertising inventory, such as, but not limited to, Google Ad Exchange for publishers, Xandr, Magnite, Criteo, Smart, Teads.
Programmatic Advertising Revenue
Programmatic Advertising Revenue refers to the revenue generated through all Sell-Side Partners including all auction types: open auctions, private auctions, preferred deals, programmatic guaranteed deals. Programmatic Advertising Revenue is generated by the ad inventory, through the ad server, such as, but not limited to, graphic display ads, native ads, video ads, video native ads, in standard IAB and original formats.
